Greetings from above,

It's the God of Prompt here.

I used to think "going viral" was pure luck.

Back when I was editing corporate videos for $200 and trying to manage social media for a local bakery, I posted the "safe" stuff. You know the type: "Here are 3 tips for better bread!" or "Happy Monday everyone!"

Cickets. Absolute silence.

I felt like a fraud. I was following all the "best practices," but my engagement was flatlining.

Then I realized something. I wasn't failing because my content was bad. I was failing because my content was predictable. I was swimming in the middle of the bell curve where 99% of people live.

The stuff that stops the scroll? It lives at the edges. The statistical outliers. The things that make you go, "Wait, what?"

Today, we're building a system that forces your content to those edges.

Today's workflow system will show you:

  • How to escape the "zone of indifference" using probability

  • Why your "best practices" are killing your reach

  • The exact 3-step chain to generate hooks that physically force people to stop scrolling

Let's build your competitive advantage!

You can (easily) launch a newsletter too

This newsletter you couldn’t wait to open? It runs on beehiiv — the absolute best platform for email newsletters.

Our editor makes your content look like Picasso in the inbox. Your website? Beautiful and ready to capture subscribers on day one.

And when it’s time to monetize, you don’t need to duct-tape a dozen tools together. Paid subscriptions, referrals, and a (super easy-to-use) global ad network — it’s all built in.

beehiiv isn’t just the best choice. It’s the only choice that makes sense.

🎯 THE PROBABILITY HOOK SYSTEM

Most people use AI to "write a hook." The AI looks at its training data, finds the most common pattern (the average), and gives you that.

Result? You sound like everyone else.

We are going to do the opposite. We are going to force the AI to sample from the "tails" of the pro bability distribution (p < 0.10). We want the weird, the contrarian, and the uncomfortable truths.

This workflow creates:

  • Hooks that stand out mathematically

  • Content angles your competitors are too scared to try

  • A consistent "viral" voice that feels human, not robotic

🔗 WORKFLOW OVERVIEW

Here's the complete system we're building today:

Step 1: The Consensus Scanner → Identifies the "boring" baseline we must avoid.

Step 2: The Tail Sampler → Generates orthogonal, contrarian angles (the p < 0.10 ideas).

Step 3: The PRISM Refiner → Turns those raw angles into human-sounding texts.

Each prompt feeds into the next. No gaps. No guesswork.

⚙️ PROMPT #1: THE CONSENSUS SCANNER

💡 The Goal: Before we can be different, we have to know what "same" looks like. This prompt forces the AI to identify the mainstream, boring advice in your niche so we can explicitly avoid it.

#CONTEXT:
Adopt the role of a Market Consensus Analyst. Your job is to identify the "Zone of Indifference" - the crowded center of public opinion where 90% of content lives. You analyze topics to find the safest, most repetitive, and widely accepted narratives that audiences have become blind to.

#ROLE:
You are a cynicism-driven data analyst who catalogs clichés. You don't create new ideas; you ruthlessly identify the overused ones. You study the "mean" of the distribution to flag it as "do not use."

#RESPONSE GUIDELINES:
- Identify the 5 most common, "safe" takes on the user's topic.
- Identify the standard emotional angle (usually "helpful" or "excited").
- Identify the buzzwords everyone uses.

#TASK CRITERIA:
- Output a "Banned Narratives" list.
- Explain WHY these are ignored (e.g., "Too obvious," "Zero tension").
- Do not offer solutions yet. Just map the boring territory.

#INFORMATION ABOUT ME:
- My Topic: [INSERT YOUR TOPIC HERE, e.g., "Remote Work for Creative Teams"]

#RESPONSE FORMAT:
Markdown report with:
1. **The Consensus List** (5 bullet points of what everyone says)
2. **The Vocabulary Trap** (List of overused words to ban)
3. **The Boredom Diagnosis** (1 sentence summary of why this topic is stale)

Input needed:

  • Your specific topic or niche.

Output you'll get:

A clear list of "Banned Narratives" and cliché words. You will copy this list into the next prompt.

📤 EXAMPLE OUTPUT FROM PROMPT #1

**The Consensus List**
* "Remote work offers freedom and flexibility."
* "Communication is key to remote success."
* "Use tools like Slack and Zoom to stay connected."
* "Work from anywhere in the world!"
* "Trust your team to do the job."

**The Vocabulary Trap**
* Freedom, Flexibility, Connected, Balance, Digital Nomad, Trust.

**The Boredom Diagnosis**
This topic is stale because it focuses on 2020-era benefits without addressing the 2024 reality of isolation and asynchronous chaos.

⚙️ PROMPT #2: THE TAIL SAMPLER

💡 The Goal: Now that we know what's boring, we use this prompt to generate the "inverted" or "orthogonal" angles. These are the ideas that live in the statistical tails (p < 0.10).

#CONTEXT:
Adopt the role of a Contrarian Strategist. You specialize in "Tail Sampling" - finding the 10% of perspectives that contradict the 90% consensus. You look for the uncomfortable truths, the economic realities, and the "unspoken" sides of a topic.

#ROLE:
You are the person at the dinner party who says the thing that makes everyone go silent, then nod. You trade in "low probability" insights. You avoid the "Consensus List" provided by the user at all costs.

#RESPONSE GUIDELINES:
- Review the [BANNED NARRATIVES] provided.
- Generate 5 "Tail Angles" that flip, invert, or attack those narratives.
- Focus on: Economic shifts, Uncomfortable truths, Pattern breaks.
- No "helpful tips." Only hard realizations.

#TASK CRITERIA:
- Each angle must have a "Probability Score" (p=0.XX).
- Angles must be specific, not general.
- Avoid hype. Focus on "The Economic Shift" or "The False Consensus."

#INFORMATION ABOUT ME:
- My Topic: [INSERT TOPIC]
- Banned Narratives (from Prompt 1): [PASTE OUTPUT FROM PROMPT 1]

#RESPONSE FORMAT:
List of 5 Tail Angles:
1. **[Angle Name]** (p=0.08) - The Insight.
2. ...

Input needed:

  • Your topic.

  • The output from Prompt #1 (The Banned Narratives).

Output you'll get:

5 raw, hard-hitting concepts that contradict the mainstream view.

📤 EXAMPLE OUTPUT FROM PROMPT #2

1. The Asynchronous Tax (p=0.07) - Remote work isn't "freedom"; it's a shift from paid time to unpaid anxiety because you never actually clock out.
2. The Zoom Ceiling (p=0.04) - Your boss promotes the people they see. If you're fully remote, you are structurally capped at "individual contributor" forever.
3. The Real Estate Arbitrage (p=0.09) - Companies don't care about your flexibility; they care that they offloaded $15k/year of office rent onto your personal mortgage.

⚙️ PROMPT #3: THE PRISM REFINER

💡 The Goal: The ideas from Prompt #2 are smart, but they might sound robotic or too academic. This prompt applies the "PRISM" layer (Pattern break, Rhythm, Imperfection, Start mid-thought, Meta) to make them sound like a viral tweet or LinkedIn opener.

#CONTEXT:
Adopt the role of a Viral Hook Architect. You take raw, hard truths and format them into "Hooks" that stop the scroll. You use the PRISM framework to add human imperfection and rhythm.

#ROLE:
You are a reformed algorithm gamer. You write like you're texting a friend who "gets it." You use lowercase for emphasis, fragment your sentences, and avoid corporate speak.

#RESPONSE GUIDELINES:
- Take the [TAIL ANGLES] provided.
- Convert each into a 1-3 sentence Hook.
- Apply PRISM Humanization:
  - **P:** Imperfection markers (no perfect grammar).
  - **R:** Vary rhythm (short. punchy. long flowing thoughts).
  - **I:** Personality quirks.
  - **S:** Start mid-thought.
  - **M:** Meta-commentary.

#TASK CRITERIA:
- BANNED PHRASES: "Let's talk about," "Game-changing," "Here's why."
- PREFERRED STRUCTURES: "Everyone thinks X, but Y," "I lost X doing Y," "The unspoken truth is..."

#INFORMATION ABOUT ME:
- Tail Angles (from Prompt 2): [PASTE OUTPUT FROM PROMPT 2]

#RESPONSE FORMAT:
5 Final Hooks tailored for social media (Twitter/LinkedIn style).

Input needed:

  • The "Tail Angles" from Prompt #2.

Output you'll get:

Final, copy-paste ready hooks that feel rare, insightful, and human.

📤 EXAMPLE OUTPUT FROM PROMPT #3

1. **[p=0.07]**
everyone celebrates remote work until they realize they just traded a commute for 24/7 availability. you didn't escape the office. you started sleeping in it.

2. **[p=0.04]**
hard truth: if i can't see you, i probably won't promote you. we call it "remote flexibility" but it's actually a career ceiling. the execs are all in the office.

3. **[p=0.09]**
stopped calling it "work from home" and started calling it "subsidizing my employer's rent." weird how that works.

📋 SUMMARY 📋

  • Prompt 1 scans the "boring" zone so you don't accidentally write generic trash.

  • Prompt 2 mathematically forces the AI to look for rare, contrarian angles (p < 0.10).

  • Prompt 3 polishes those rough diamonds into human-sounding viral hooks.

Most people write from the center. You now write from the edge. That's where the attention is.
